Mercedes GLC India Unleashes the GLC SUV Beast

The dashboard has a 3-zone luxury automatic climate control; temperature control cup holder is also provided for the driver and the front passenger. A 20.3mm touchpad is provided for the driver which offers dynamic selection—Garmin MAP PILOT and COMAND Online features. Garmin MAP PILOT brings-in user-friendly navigation with precise map data and route guidance whereas, COMAND Online ensures that the navigation, telephone, audio, video and internet are in easy reach to the driver. Driver can also integrate iPhone into the vehicle via Apple’s CarPlay and operate it using voice recognition technique.

Keeping safety to the heart, the SUV will be powered with the two engine alternatives in the GLC 220 and 300 models. The diesel  variant will be a 2.2 liter inline-four producing 168bhp and provides 400Nm of torque, while the latter variant packs 2.0 liter turbocharged inline-four engine which has the capacity of generating 238bhp and 370Nm. These engines are coupled with 9-speed automatic transmission. As the most awaited Mercedes SUV is about to be introduced to the Indian automobile market, car lovers can now add this on their ‘To-Have’ list!
