Jeep SUVs Wrangler, Cherokee, Renegade Coming To India in 2016

BENGALURU: Fiat is all geared up to introduce their American SUV range from Jeep; the company will unveil the Wrangler, Cherokee at the Auto Expo 2016. Also Jeep India might launch the Jeep Renegade SUV in the future, reports IndiaToday.

The report reveals the confirmation of the Jeep brand coming to India and the cars will be introduced in the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2016. The company will introduce Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Renegade at the Auto Expo 2016 and then by 2017, launch the Jeep Renegade.

Here are the details of the SUVs, Jeep is planning to launch in to he Indian market.

Jeep Wrangler

Engine: It is a 3.6 litre, V6 with 24 valves, DOHC, and VVT petrol engine that gives 285bhp and 352Nm of Torque. It also has a six speed manual transmission with a 70 litres fuel capacity.

Dimensions: The Wrangler is 1872mm width and 1801mm height. The length of the SUV is 3881mm with 2423mm wheelbase along with the 261.62mm of ground clearance.

Features: The Wrangler is enabled with remote keyless power door locks, 2 one-touch power windows, Trip computer, a compass, an external temperature display, Cruise control, Electro chromatic inside rear-view mirror, Alpine premium brand speakers and Bluetooth wireless data link for hands-free phone.

Price: The Jeep Wrangler is estimated to come with a price tag of approximately 22 lakh-25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
