2. Netrani Island, Murudeshwar
Netrani (also known as Pigeon Island) is a tiny island in India located in the Arabian Sea.
It is off the coast of Karnataka. It is situated approximately 20 Kilometers from the temple town of Murudeshwara, locally known as Netragudo.
The island offers excellent diving suitable for all experience levels. Netrani is not only home to the great diversity of fish life, it is also well known for regular sightings of Turtles, Napoleon Wrasse, Great Barracuda, Cobia, White and Black Tip Sharks, Stingrays and Stonefish as well.
