A tour through his wealth

Sathya Sai Baba could count more followers than any other Indian guru and the financial worth of his spiritual empire is several times bigger. Sai Baba reportedly had wealth of over more than 40,000 crore.

The worth of Baba’s Sathya Sai Central Trust was about nine billion dollars, as estimated by the tax department of the state in 2011. The building of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Puttaparthi, was one major project of the Trust with twenty million dollar donated by Isaac Tigrett, cofounder of Hard Rock Cafe and House of Blues. Moreover, after the death of Baba, huge amount of wealth found in Baba’s personal chamber, which includes 98 kg of gold, 307 kg of silver and nearly $2.5 million cash, reports Ryan Shaffer in CSi.
