Discovery Channel Premiers 'MOONBOUND: INDIA'S RACE TO THE MOON', an Extraordinary Story of an Indian Start-up Aiming for the Moon


With a design philosophy emphasizing on simplicity, low cost and reliance on local vendors and ecosystem Narayan and his team have sunk all his savings for their dream project. Narayan is the leader of TeamIndus, a Delhi-based startup which won the$30 million Google Lunar XPRIZE. Honoring this amazing achievement by Narayan and his team, Discovery Channel will premiere a one-hour special show entitled ‘MOONBOUND: INDIA’S RACE TO THE MOON’ which showcases best events from the seven-year journey to success.

The upcoming on-air broadcast has attracted lots of attention from the advertisers. The much awaited show is Co-Presented by Amazon Echo, Co-Powered by Levi Strauss and PUBG, Nokia as the Mobile Partner. What was incepted in a small server room in Noida and took a huge turn when Narayan started looking out for people with sheer passion unaware about the challenges the team would face in the race.

The rest of the spectacular journey of an aerospace startup that came together to reach the moon can be seen on 30th October at 9 pm only on Discovery Channel.
