Comic Con Banglore2016: Geek-Out this Weekend with the Largest Entertainment Event

BENGALURU: The capital city of Karnataka is prepping to host the biggest entertainment event at KTPO Convention Centre in Whitefield on 12-13 November 2016. The geek ones and reclusive ones who go bonkers over comics and pop culture can brace themselves up for this mega event. So what is Comic Con?

A brilliant combination of fun and serious business, it’s a multi-genre entertainment and comic convention, which is registered trademark of San Diego Comic-Con. Basically, it is an effort to  bring all the pop culture enthusiast, comic con fans, the comic movies, books, creators and experts under one roof and celebrate the love towards comics.

What happens at the event?

Event is held at the KTPO convention center, where people with same level of craze for comic con gather around and have fun sharing thoughts about the comics and its iconic characters. You might also get the chance to interact with some of the popular actors who played iconic characters. You also can hang out with well known cosplayers across the world. In addition to that, workshops are conducted by the top leaders of the industry; there would be promotions of unreleased animated movies, and plenty of comic books to purchase. Previously, Comic-cons were organized by crazy fans on a non-profit basis, but these days most events catering to fans are run by commercial interests for profit. Furthermore, the gathering will also constitute approximately around 35 stalls that include merchant selling comic books, games, and action figures, workshops by animators, and releases of latest books.

To get an entry to this mega event one has to purchase tickets online and then you can experience the world of geeks.

Dress Code

There is no official dress code as such for Bangalore Comic Con. However, if you are interested and allure attention from the other geeks around you can definitely flaunt with some cool and funky apparels.

Maintain Event Decorum

Go through the rules and regulations before entering the event. You are not allowed to pester others for photographs or any other things just because you are in love with the character. Comic Con has a strict code when it comes to behaving in general at the event.
