Cold Play: Interesting Facts that One Must Know
Before the name coldplay
Initially the Coldplay band was known as Pectoralz formed by Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland in 1996. Moving on they switched to name Starfish, finally they settled with Coldplay after the group was joined by Phil Harvey and drummer/vocalist Will Champion. It is learnt that the name was borrowed by an UCL student who had named it for his band and found it deflating.
