Checkout BMW's New Revolutionary Motorcycle Concept

BENGALURU: As part of anniversary celebrations this year, BMW is showcasing several concepts that look forward to the company’s next 100 years. BMW has unveiled its latest vision- BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100, of the motoring future in Los Angeles.

The new BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 vehicle visualizes the future of two-wheel vehicles with onboard intelligence and automated stability systems. The technology makes it possible for drivers to use them without protective gears. The integrated intelligent driver assistance features will help riders make it possible for the ride to maintain its thrill with advanced safety. Unlike today’ vehicles, the frame of the new concept extends from the front to the rear wheel, allowing efficient steering without several joints. Turning the handlebar adjusts the entire frame, changing the direction of the bike.

According to BMW, the Motorrad’s systems will foresee the road ahead and offer drivers instructions to avoid incidents, and even step in and take over control to prevent anything from happening. The vehicle uses a self-balancing system that absolutely prevents the possibility of a tip-over, either when in motion or when standing still. Helmets are replaced by a light weight visor that pops up instructions and analyze the road for the driver.

After all, this vehicle is just a concept and the company has not yet revealed any further information regarding its production or sales. But still we could hope that some of the elements in these concepts might be a part of two-wheelers in near future.
