Bangalore: Honda Cars India launched the automatic transmission version of its flagship hatchback Brio in two variants – the S (O) AT and V AT (mid and top-end) priced between 5.74 lakh and 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It also introduced a new variant of the manual transmission version, priced at 4.26 lakh.

“Automatic transmissions are gaining popularity in hatchback segment due to our stop-go traffic. Our dealer and customer voice indicated that there is a good potential for automatic in the Brio segment,” Honda Cars India Senior Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Jnaneswar Sen told to PTI.

Brio was the first car in its segment to be equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The new Brio automatic transmission version of the manual transmission has various features, including new audio system and body coloured outside door handles.
