BENGALURU: A decade ago, smart technologies were just seen in sci-fi movies but today it is a part of our daily life. Some say technologies are inspired from movies, and here we look at some of the technological citing from different movies which are now used in reality:    

Smartphones:

Smartphones today are a daily need; communication, information and many other things can be done using this device. The concept of smartphones was derived from the movie ‘Star Trek-The Cage’ in the year 1964 which they called as ‘Communicator’ in the movie.
