The world’s most fuel-efficient car, XL1s was first unveiled at the Qatar Motor Show in 2011, and has now been confirmed for an initial production run of 200 examples.
The VW XL-1 might look a little weird, but its unusual design is what helps it get an insane 261 MPG. Its slick body lines help the XL-1 be extremely aerodynamic and cut through air like it's its job.
