BANGALURU: The demand for compact car has increased tremendously. Automobile industry is all excited and looks occupied with the launches scheduled in 2016. The coming year is the year of transition; the demand of the compact car segment in India is probable to grow even bigger. So, here is the compiled list of compact cars that could be hitting the showrooms in 2016.

The Datsun redi-GO

Datsun, from the maker of Nissan is all set to present their latest model, redi-GO. With all the spectacular styling and amazing bodywork, Datsun is able to make a way through our heart. The tall body structure provides enough space to sit comfortably and high eye point enhances drivability. Coming to the engine, redi-Go is powered with fuel efficient 800cc, three-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission.  This model will be launched in the month of June and is expected to be priced in between 2.5 Lakh to 3.5 Lakh Rupees.
