Marble Caves, Chile

Located in the Patagonian Andes, Marble Caves’s unique formation lies in the waters which are shared by Argentina and Chile. The beautiful marbles in the caves, which are accessible by boats, are formed by the currents from the lake and turns into an appealing blue form that adds the serenity to the entire wonder. These marbles change color throughout the year depending on the level of the water during different seasons. It is said to be one of the largest deposits of marble in the world and the continuous action of waves for more than 6000 years have made the caves into a spectacular marble cave system.

Glowworm Caves, New Zealand

Known for its shining glittering glowworm species, it is an attraction cave that has a modern visitor centre. The bioluminescent glow produced by these mosquito sized glowworms inside the ceilings of caves is a pleasure to watch, especially when millions of them hanging down. It is estimated that 300 caves are present and all filled with these unique kinds of blue worms that attract insects and sticky silk lines for catching the prey. The boat tour will give a ride onto the underground Waitomo River and thereby giving a chance to snap the pictures of a sky of living lights.
