Mayanti Langer

Mayanti Langer is a TV sports journalist with ESPN and has hosted some of the most popular sports competitions such as the 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2010 Commonwealth Games – Delhi.

Langer, who grew up in the U.S developed a passion towards football while studying there. Initially, a part of her college football team, Langer also took the role of an anchor, for a broadcast of FIFA beach football.

The broadcast turned out to be a successful one, giving her the opportunity to become the host and associate producer for Football Cafe on Zee Sports. Later on, she worked for various football shows on the Zee network, giving commentary and interviews during pre-match, half-time and post-match shows. Anchoring the Nehru Cup held in New Delhi at the Ambedkar Stadium on Zee Sports, gave a boost to the media career of this glamorous lady.
