BENGALURU: Cars have always fascinated people around the world. It is one among the favorites in the list of wants, for men. Well, curtains came down on the biennial automotive show at Geneva with the event witnessing many product launches. The Geneva motor show houses world class car manufactures under one roof to showcase their proud products. However, the 2016 motor show was no different with masterpiece automobiles launched, that got everyone excited but failed to make a real impact.

The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

The Corvette Grand Sports is powered by a 460 horse power, from the base model, turbo charged V-8 engine and comes with wider tires and higher-performance Z06 suspension. Stripes on the front bonnets are attractive with advanced styling. This car could be for those who loves to drive on the track, but doesn't need extreme amounts of power.

The Porsche 911R

The car powered by a 500 horse powered engine, is equipped with a manual transmission, though its predecessors are known for its best automatic transmissions ever build. Unlike other variants of the car, the deployable spoilers are hidden on top of the engine cover at the rear. 911R achieve 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds.

The Bugatti Chiron

With an advanced drive train producing 1,500 HP, the new Bugatti Chiron can achieve 0-60 miles in just 2.5 seconds with a limited speed of 261MPH- a job well appreciable. The design looks intriguing. Bugatti, a part of Volkswagen will make just 500 of the first Chiron series.

Koenigsegg Regera

The Regera with an output of over 1,500 horsepower and a fancy direct-drive transmission system is absolutely amazing and is the first road car to use Formula One-grade battery cells. Only 80 units will be built, of which half of them have already been sold as of March 2016 which shows the popularity of the Swedish made car.

The Morgan EV3 

The Morgan EV3 was a real attraction with charm, panache, old-school design and zero emissions. The all electric car comes with a 20kWh lithium battery with the engine throwing out 64-horsepower. Morgan EV3, a three wheeler, achieves 0-60 miles in well under nine seconds.

The Abarth 124 Spider

Compared to its predecessors, the 1.4 Multiair turbo unit carries a 10 horsepower bump from the 160 horsepower base Fiat model, while torque has also been increases by a modest 10Nm to 250Nm. Abarth is the new turbocharged Mazda Miata that comes from the factory which makes 0-60 in 6.8 seconds with a top speed of 143MPH.

The Aston Martin DB11

The new version has got 600 horsepower and can do 0-60 in just 3.9 seconds. The DB11 showcase a clever aerodynamics, new twin-turbo V12 and class-leading infotainment systems. With a phenomenal design, the car is the first to be launched in Aston Martin's 'Second Century' plan.

The McLaren 570GT

The luxury version of the McLaren houses a Ricardo designed-and-built M838TE 3.8 liter engine delivering 562 horsepower making 0-62 miles in 3.4 seconds. 570GT also uses specially designed tires to help keep road noise levels down.
