South African photojournalist, Kevin Carter’s Prize-winning’s photograph in Sudan is evidently devoid of human empathy. The Sudanese child being stalked by a vulture who is a little distance away , awaiting the girl's death to feast on her remains.
The toddler’s parents had left her for a brief while to collect food from the plane. The situation of the emaciated girl struggling to make her way to the station as death encircles her.

The heartbreaking picture was taken by an Indian Photojournalist Raghu Rai on the lamenting morn of December 3rd, 1984, after the horrific Chemical Disaster that had struck Bhopal the previous night. The death wave of poisonous gases spewed from an industrial unit that belonged to the Union Carbide Corporation had created a graveyard for thousands within the close of day.
The Magnum photographer Raghu had come across one distraught father burying his infant daughter. The father had covered the tiny body with earth but the unmeasured grief in parting from her had urged him to brushed the earth away for one last look as he tenderly stroked her face.
