Bangalore: The Indian economy is growing at a fast pace and this is clearly reflected on the number of cars that were launched this year. More and more car manufacturers are looking forward to cash in the huge excitement among the car enthusiast and buyers in the country. Though the fuel prices are rising, it is not stopping the Indian and foreign carmakers from bringing in their all new or revised offering in the quest for grabbing a pie on the Indian soil.

1. Mini Cooper:

2012 market the launch of the hot favorite hatchback from BMW, the iconic Mini Cooper, in India. Thus India became the 100th country where BMW has launched MINI. The Mini series cars namely Mini Cooper Convertible, Mini Cooper S, Mini Cooper Countryman and Mini Cooper were launched in the country. The small but beautiful retro-styled vehicle in the range of 24 lakh to 39 lakh has become an instant hit, especially among the young auto enthusiast, in the ultra premium small car segment.     

All the 4 versions are powered by 1.6 L petrol engine, and offered different power outputs of 122 BHP [Break Horsepower] to 184 BHP along with relative torque.
