He has been focusing on polio eradication and HIV/ AIDS awareness. He has been the prime voice of Indian government for polio immunization for children in the country through television as well as radio commercials. He has also promoted the ‘Save our Tigers’ campaign.

The box office king of Bollywood, Salman khan is well known for his charity works. He has founded Being Human a foundation which helps the needy people. Apart from the works his foundation has done he has set heroic targets to all his fans by donating his bone marrow to a little girl. He has also showed his support for the "Child Labour Free India Campaign" as well as does regular visits to meet cancer patients at hospitals and encourages them to dream.
