Zoho Corporation has introduced 'Zakya', a modern point-of-sale (POS) solution designed to streamline day-to-day operations for retail stores in India. The POS system provides an end-to-end setup, including a billing application compatible with Windows, iOS, and Android.
The standard plan for Zakya starts at Rs 649 per month, billed annually, with a 15-day free trial option. The POS system supports multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, and English.
In response to the growing demand for digital solutions among retailers facing increased online shopping trends, Zakya aims to offer an easy-to-use solution that can be quickly deployed, making it more accessible for small businesses to adopt technology.
Zakya's native app supports offline billing, allowing stores to continue transactions even without an internet connection. Additionally, the POS system enables businesses to launch a custom mobile app for customers to browse and make purchases on their smartphones, with home delivery options.
Zakya comes pre-integrated with payment partners such as Pine Labs, Razorpay, and PhonePe, facilitating seamless third-party integrations for enhanced functionality. The solution is positioned to cater to the evolving needs of retail businesses in the digital era.
