The oldest man to appear in a World Cup match was Holland's Nolan Clarke, at 47 years,257 days in 1995-96. So cricket is the game for the ones who are fit, age never a consideration.

Youngest player to get in this year is Afghanistan’s 18-year-old Usman Ghani, who was born on November 20, 1996 and the youngest ever to take part is Canada’s Nitish Kumar, who was 16 during the 2011 tournament.
