Steve Smith, a cricket player for Australia had a funny moment. His friend Marnus was betting with him and Jadeja threw the ball which Smith hit. The ball went near Marnus which tried to run but Jadeja stood in his way which made the ball hit Marnus’ bat and the ball moved away. Smith became very angry at that because Jadeja stopped his friend and Smith shouted and told the umpire to help but Marnus and Jadeja just laughed and hugged as they did not think it was any serious. Smith looked at them hugging and stopped complaining, of course, and fans were laughing at the whole situation. People on Twitter talked about this funny moment and said it was nice to see friends having fun. After some time, even Smith smiled at the situation and many cricket fans liked this moment more than the match itself.
Beth Mooney Helps Giants Win Easy Game
Beth Mooney helped Gujarat Giants win a cricket match with ease as she scored 96 runs and that is a really high number when it comes to cricket. Her team played against UP Warriorz and in total the Giants made 186 runs so UP Warriorz had to score 187 runs to win, but the start for their team was really poor since they lost three wickets right at the start and after that Warriorz never played well again.
Gujarat Titans bowled very well, on the other hand. Grace Harris alone made 25 runs but very slowly and another player, Chenille Henry, scored quickly but it was too late as Warriorz only scored 105 runs. Mooney was the best player since she score almost half of the team’s runs.
Rahane is the New Captainn for KKR Team
Kolkata Knight Riders, otherwise known as KKR chose Ajinkya Rahane as their new captain. Rahane has already played for KKR previously, and last year, another player which is Shreyas was captain thanks to which KKR won the big trophy, but now Shreyas is not on the team anymore. Rahane knows how to lead players well and KRR also chose Venkatesh Iyer as Rahane’s helper which we will clearly see. He will surely help Rahane lead the team and Rahane himself said he feels proud and happy to lead a great team like KKR.
Varun Helps India Beat New Zealand in Cricket
India won a cricket match against New Zealand and first, India batted. Shreyas Iyer made many runs and India scored a good total of 249 runs. Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand tried hard to overcome it and scored 81 runs but Varun Chakravarthy, an Indian bowler, played better. Varun took 5 wickets which means he got five batters out by himself. Because of Varun, New Zealand lost wickets fast, and New Zealand only managed to score 205 runs which made India win easily by 44 runs. Fans were truly happy with Varun’s great bowling and said he was the hero of the match.
Rahane Becomes Captain for KKR with Venkatesh’s Help
Ajinkya Rahane is now the captain for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Rahane played cricket for many teams before. Last year, KKR won the cricket tournament. Their captain then was Shreyas, but now he is not in the team. So KKR picked Rahane as their new captain. Rahane played for KKR before but never as captain. Now he will lead the team. Venkatesh Iyer will help Rahane as the vice-captain. Venkatesh is younger and has never been a captain before. Rahane knows how to lead because he was captain of another team earlier. Rahane says he feels very proud and happy to become captain of KKR. He thinks the team has good players. Fans are excited because Rahane is very experienced. They also like Venkatesh because he is a strong player. KKR fans now hope Rahane and Venkatesh can lead the team well. They want KKR to win again.
