A Tattoo is permanent and painful. It isn’t painful if you are in love with the person. This was the case with Malinga. He has his wife’s name tattooed on his arm. The bowler with a controversial action got married to Tanya Perera on January 22, 2010.
This gentleman met his wife to be at a shoot where Tanya’s company was handling the event. But it was only the second time they met in Galle that Malinga managed to get her number. When he asked her if she loved him Tanya asked him to speak to her parents and he did. They dated for 2 years before they eventually tied the knot.
They had a simple Christian wedding which was full of fun. Malinga wore a cream suit and Tanya wore a cream saree. The pictures of the wedding points to the fact that the couple were in love and happy.
