The new facility acts as a dynamic hub where technology, sports, and strategy intersect, offering an immersive experience for fans, players, and innovators. It showcases how AI, analytics, and digital platforms are reshaping modern chess.
Featuring panoramic views of Plano’s skyline, the centre includes advanced spaces for tournaments, live match analysis, digital chess innovations, and community programs. Anand said the initiative “represents the next step in making chess more engaging, interactive, and global”, praising Tech Mahindra for using technology to inspire new generations of chess enthusiasts.
The centre also promotes collaboration with universities, chess federations, and technology partners to explore AI in chess, digital coaching tools, esports integration, and fan engagement models. It will serve as the global base for Tech Mahindra’s upcoming Global Chess League Season 3 in Mumbai later this year.
