Amit Shah, union minister, emphasized Modi government's vision of creating a Viksit Bharat by 2047 and prescribed a five-point national determination to pace India's development in the next decades.

The five resolutions, as defined by Shah, are to accomplish the vision of a developed India, create unity and harmony in all sections of society, take pride in the country's cultural heritage, remove all traces of colonial mentality from administration, culture, and institutions, and have all citizens actively contribute to nation-building.

Speaking at the 63rd Foundation Day celebrations of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shah said that "erasing the remnants of a colonial mindset and instilling a strong sense of duty among citizens will be central to realising India's aspirations as it approaches 100 years of independence".

Shah also pointed out key steps taken by the Modi government in the past 11 years, which had ushered in 'transformational changes in governance, security, and development'. Some of the schemes he mentioned included opening more than 55 crore bank accounts for unbanked families, supplying clean drinking water to 15 crore households, constructing 12 crore toilets, issuing 10 crore LPG connections, and providing 4 crore houses to the poor.

On internal security, Shah referred to abrogation of Article 370 as a historic decision that united J&K and checked terrorism. He highlighted the government's work in North-East, such as Bodo Accord, Bru-Reang agreement, and settlement of border disputes in Assam & Meghalaya, which he claimed had brought a tremendous decline in violence related to insurgency.

"PM Modi has placed before the nation a vision which unites development with heritage. India is today set to become a $30 trillion economy in the next few decades, but this prosperity must percolate to every citizen".
