At the elite Harvard India Business Forum 2025, entrepreneur and healthcare visionary Upasana Kamineni Konidela gave an inspiring keynote, highlighting India's leadership in healthcare innovation. With the vision to make India a global leader in healthcare, she emphasized the country's advancements in AI-based healthcare, digital wellness solutions, and holistic well-being models.
“India’s biggest advantage is scale. With AI-powered predictive healthcare and our deep-rooted wellness traditions, we are not just solving for India we are creating solutions for the world,” she stated in her keynote address.
She highlighted India's ability to harness AI and Big Data to enable real-time diagnosis and predictive treatment, enhancing health outcomes. Early intervention for chronic illnesses and mental health represented a critical shift toward preventive care with the aim of eliminating the need for hospitals in the first place.
Upasana also highlighted the contribution of digital health, UPI-based payments, and telemedicine in providing quality healthcare access to even the most remote corners of India. This smooth convergence of technology has turned India into a hot destination for international health-tech and wellness investors.
Wearing a bespoke Dior suit, Upasana not only reflected her individual style but represented India's power and fearless vision for healthcare revolution. She ended her address by saying, “The future of healthcare is not about building more hospitals it’s about preventing people from needing them in the first place. India is setting the blueprint for the world”, she concluded.
