BENGALURU: In the recent incidences of terror attacks in Paris, PM Modi has urged the world G20 Summit to join hands and fight terrorism as a whole. The Summit is also expected to discuss several other topics like-inclusive economic growth and climate change, according to zeenews.india.com.

These are some of the developments in talks:

1. The G20 Summit, which was anticipated to primarily set to undertake a decision at the top of the 2-day assembly tomorrow calling for higher coordination and change of data to chop off funding and an extra complete strategy on “addressing the circumstances conducive to terrorism.”

2. U.S., the migrant issue and the war in Syria are also looming large on the summit in view of the Paris attacks. Many countries favour controlling the inflow of migrants that has gained force after it was known that a terrorist used a fake passport to enter the European Union. U.S. said it backs Turkey's stand and hopes to reduce the flow of migrants.

3. President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed on the need of UN-negotiated peace talks and a ceasefire in Syria.

4. PM Modi said that from conflict zones to distant cities, terrorism "extracts a deadly price" and called for a long-term approach and a stronger role for the UN. In addition the global links of terrorists "offered a new threat to pluralist and open societies".

5. French President Francois Hollande cancelled his visit to the meeting in the wake of the Paris attack, in which approximately 129 people died until Friday. "The Paris attack is an attack on the civilized world. We stand in solidarity with France," Mr Obama said in a joint news conference with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
