This was announced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in budget 2015-16 which offers a low cost and affordable personal accidental cover. The scheme has been launched to elevate the insurance penetration in India. As per analysts this scheme is a good option for the ones who do not have any insurance and cannot afford one due high cost.
