In life it is common to meet people who are well learned and experts in their specific fields of study. What is not common is finding a young person in their early thirties with ten college degrees. This therefore makes Rajub Bhowmik an extraordinary individual. With ten degrees, he mirrors President Obama’s famous slogan “Yes We Can”.

He is both Bangladeshi and American. He was born in Noakhali District of Bangladesh, but his family later moved to the United States when he was 15 years of age. Unlike his native home, the United States presented him with a wide range of opportunities. He was exposed to good schools, teachers and had tools he needed to learn. But could this be the reason he did so well in academics? Would he still have achieved so much in Bangladesh? This is just an individual who was determined to work hard, do more and achieve more. Rajub Bhowmik grabbed the opportunities in his new home and used them in his 19 years of hard work. According to his social media, his vision to make a difference in people’s lives is what inspired him. Did you know with a clear vision and planning you can achieve anything you want? At 34 years, Rajub Bhowmik holds not just any ten college degrees, but with four doctorates and masters degrees on top, and is using these degrees to positively impact people’s lives. Not forgetting to mention that his achievement has earned him a name as one of the most learned young individuals in the world.

The passion to pursue different interests is another reason he did all the ten different degrees. Maybe you also want to learn a new skill from what you already know and so you will need to study a new course for it. That is exactly how Dr. Bhowmik ended up with his degrees. To be specific, he has a Master's in Homeland Security and National Security, a Master's in Science in Curriculum and Instructional Technology, a Masters in Psychology, and a Master’s in Criminal Justice. He also holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology, a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, a doctorate in Business Administration, and a doctorate in Education. His drive to advancing his knowledge and expertise is demonstrated by the depth of his knowledge in a wide range of subjects.

The question anyone would be quick to ask is what is he going to do with all those degrees? Well, Dr. Bhowmik has made some tremendous and significant contributions already, both in the fields of law enforcement and education. As you read this, he is presently at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice serving as an adjunct associate professor. In this position he shares his expertise and wisdom with the upcoming generation. There is more to this; he is also an adjunct professor at the department of Psychology at Iona University. He equally serves in the same position at the Saint Elizabeth University in New Jersey. Interestingly, Dr. Rajub Bhowmik is also an established police sergeant in the famous New York City Police Department. In this role he has helped safeguard his community for more than 11 years.

Dr. Bhowmik’s influence extends beyond academic and law enforcement. He is also a creative actor and model. He has successfully captured the attention of his audiences with his performances. To add on this he is also a writer, who has authored and published over 20 books in different languages. If you say that it is impossible for one person to do all that, then Dr. Bhowmik will look you straight in the eyes and say I have done it. His writings span across different genres, including romance, research, poetry, research and thrillers. His literary inputs have received accolades and they continue to inspire readers all over the world

Dr. Bhowmik is also known for his contribution in the music industry. He discovered the Ayna Sangeet, which is an innovative genre in Bangladeshi music. Songs in Ayna Sangeet are composed of a maximum of six lines, each consisting of around ten letters. The doctor has without a doubt left a lasting impression on South Asian music with his unique musical style. As if that is not enough, he also introduced Ayna Sonnets - a type of poetry that includes fourteen lines and there are fourteen letters in each line. Besides enriching Southeast Asia's cultural fabric and garnering international acclaim, his sonnets explore themes of love, philosophy, the afterlife, nature, and politics.
