Teachers Find Gratitude to be the Best Gift, Not Money



Bangalore:  Knowledge plays an indispensable role in the life of every person and this is where a teacher plays the most definitive role. . After parents, it is a teacher whom people look up to for gaining any academic knowledge, wisdom or other essential information.

In India, 5th September of every year is commemorated as ‘Teacher’s Day.’  It is on this day when students from all over the country plan to execute something out of the box for their teachers. According to the recent survey conducted by Pearson (leading education company), 72 percent of teachers feel that students recognize them for their achievements and success, reports Hindustan Times.

Lata Vaidyanathan, Principal, Modern School, New Delhi said, “Learning, however, requires inspiration and direction and the teachers have to provide this direction. We need to see how teachers view the learning process and change with changing times. Teachers now need to have a higher objective for the learning process using the discipline,” reports HT.
