Tata Power Installs EV Chargers Along Key Routes to Ayodhya
Tata Power has partnered with the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) to install EV charging points in and around the city, aimed at boosting the adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs). This collaboration strategically connects Ayodhya with neighboring major cities by setting up EV charging stations along key routes.
The designated points span routes like Ayodhya to Lucknow via National Highway (NH) 27, Ayodhya to Raebareli via NH 330, Ayodhya to Prayagraj via NH 330, and Ayodhya to Gorakhpur via NH 27. According to Tata Power, these stations symbolize innovation and environmental responsibility, contributing to the nation's journey towards achieving Net Zero emissions. Deepesh Nanda, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, emphasized the significance of this initiative in shaping a sustainable future for all.
Tata Power boasts an extensive infrastructure network, including over 80,000 home chargers, 5,300+ public, semi-public, and fleet charging points, along with 850+ bus charging stations. This robust infrastructure positions Tata Power as a leader in driving the transition towards eco-friendly transportation.
Gaurav Dayal, Commissioner of Ayodhya, lauded the installation of these charging points, highlighting their role in enhancing the city's infrastructure while ushering in an era of environmental consciousness and progress.  The collaboration between Tata Power and ADA signifies a significant step towards promoting sustainable mobility and reducing carbon emissions, aligning with broader environmental goals and fostering eco-consciousness within the community.
