Tribute marks first death anniversary of the legendary industrialist
Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik paid a heartfelt tribute to legendary industrialist Ratan Tata on his first death anniversary by creating a stunning six-foot sand sculpture on the shores of Puri Beach in Odisha.
Using over eight tons of sand, Pattnaik crafted a detailed portrait of Ratan Tata, surrounded by symbols representing various iconic Tata Group companies. The sculpture drew crowds and admirers, all there to remember the lasting legacy of a man who shaped modern Indian industry.
Sudarsan said the tribute was a small gesture to honour the immense contribution Tata made to society, business, and the nation. He added that every year on October 9, he and fellow artists will continue to remember and celebrate Tata’s values and achievements.
Ratan Tata, born in Mumbai and known for his humble nature and visionary leadership, was a former chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Group.
