Torrent Power: It has bagged a giant contract from the Maharashtra government to provide 2,000 MW of energy storage from its upcoming pumped hydro storage plant, which is a giant leap toward its growth within the energy sector.
SpiceJet: SpiceJet, which has raised Rs 3,000 crore through a qualified institutional placement, plans to spend Rs 400 crore over the next two years on reviving 36 grounded aircraft. It is also leasing seven aircraft to expand its fleet and operate the planes with maximum efficiency.
Ola Electric: The firm received a show-cause notice from the Central Consumer Protection Authority regarding nearly 10,000 grievances. However, Ola Electric said that it would not affect its operations, and the company is otherwise working for its business.
Embassy Office Parks REIT: Embassy REIT has managed to raise Rs 2,000 crore in debt at a 7.95% interest rate to refinance maturing non-convertible debentures, thus optimizing the company's balance sheet in the face of challenging capital market conditions.
One97 Communications (Paytm): Paytm Money, a subsidiary of One97 Communications, has launched BSE Futures & Options (F&O) trading. From now on, traders can trade both NSE and BSE contracts at a charge of Rs 20 per order. Improvement in user experience will help when retail investors rise with heavy losses in F&O trading.
Nuvama Wealth Management: SEBI issued a warning after inspecting the merchant banking operations of Nuvama Wealth Management. Therefore, the company is working on the given corrective measures by SEBI.
IRFC: The Indian Railway Finance Corporation will provide up to Rs 700 crore for 20 BOBR rakes, which were procured by NTPC under the General-Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme of Ministry of Railways.
SKF India: The boards of the company have approved the demerger of its automotive and industrial divisions under a scheme of arrangement. As per an exchange filing, a corporate restructuring committee has been vested with the responsibility of formulating a detailed scheme of demerger.
