Emcure Pharmaceuticals: BC Investments IV, an affiliate of global private equity giant Bain Capital, is likely to sell up to a 2% stake in Emcure Pharmaceuticals through block deals. The expected deal size is about Rs 493 crore, with a floor price of Rs 1,296.5 per share, according to a CNBC-TV18 report. As of September 2025, BC Investments held a 6.3% stake in the company. This stake sale may create some movement in the stock price during the day.
AstraZeneca Pharma India: AstraZeneca Pharma India announced its second brand partnership with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries for Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate (SZC). This medicine is used for treating hyperkalemia, a condition where potassium levels in the blood are very high.
Under the agreement, both companies will promote and sell SZC in India but under different brand names. AstraZeneca will market the drug as Lokelma, while Sun Pharma will sell it under the name Gimliand. This partnership is expected to strengthen the reach of the therapy in the Indian market.
WPIL: WPIL’s South African subsidiary has won a big contract from METSI KE MATLA JV. The deal is worth 821 million Rand (approx. Rs 426 crore) and covers the full electromechanical and instrumentation work for the MCWAP2 project under the Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority. The project is expected to be completed and commissioned within 48 months. This order win may boost investor sentiment for the stock.
JSW Cement & Nuvoco Vistas Corporation
Nuvoco Vistas has signed a Securities Purchase Agreement to buy 100% of the securities of Algebra Endeavour, which is the holding company of Vadraj Energy in Gujarat. The deal amount is up to Rs 200 crore.
The transaction involves JSW Cement, Alpha Alternatives Holdings, and Algebra Endeavour. This acquisition is expected to help Nuvoco strengthen its energy-related capabilities.
Indokem: Indokem received a notice from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), directing the company to shut down its manufacturing unit in Ambernath within 72 hours. The board cited violations related to the Water Pollution Act and Air Pollution Act. The notice may have a negative impact on the company’s stock, given the seriousness of the action.
JSW Energy: Pritesh Vinay, Director (Finance) at JSW Energy, has resigned from his role, effective January 1, 2026. He will remain with the company until December 31, 2025, to assist in a smooth transition. Leadership changes such as this often draw investor attention.
