Samsung postpones its May 24 event for unknown reasons

Bangalore: Surreptitiously, Samsung Electronics has announced the postponement of its event scheduled on May 24 in New York City with no additional explanation. There is no precise reason as to what the event was concerned about. It is assumed that the event was to be held related to the launch of either the Galaxy S II phone or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, as Samsung has not yet revealed the phone into the U.S. market. Samsung Galaxy SII is similar to Samsung Infuse 4G. This phone sports a sleek feature and a textured back. It has the new Samsung dual-core processor and not the Nvidia Tegra. Samsung Galaxy SII is considered to be more thin and elegant with 3.3 inches, when compared to other dual core processor phones, including Droid Bionic, Motorola Atrix and LG Revolution. This phone would fall into the category of the most thinnest phone in the U.S. market. Samsung Galaxy SII will be distributed among the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon under the names of Galaxy S II Attain. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was unveiled at the Google I/O show recently. The galaxy Tab comprises of a very thin, 0.44 inch designed body. It sports a textured plastic back which results in less slippery and easier grip than other tablets. This tablet runs on Nvidia Tegra 2 and is Dual-core and Honeycomb processed. The Samsung Tab has the Touch Wiz UX and includes a rear-facing 3-megapixel camera and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls, a dual-core processor, 1080p HD video playback, and WXGA (1,280x800) touch screens. In the U.S., the Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will cost $499 for the 16GB model and $599 for the 32GB model.
