Ranjeev Vij Announced his Departure from TBWAIndia and Nissan United
Ranjeev Vij, Executive Director at TBWAIndia and Managing Director of Nissan United, has opted to leave the agency, as per industry reports. His last working day has been scheduled on May 2, 2025.
Ranjeev Vij leaves behind an illustrious legacy, having led integrated advertising, digital, and media campaigns for some of the leading brands like Nissan, Air India Express, Philips, and Eicher Motors. His leadership was instrumental in the success of the new Nissan facelift campaign, which won widespread acclaim and several awards, including a Gold award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign and a Silver award for Best Product Launch Campaign.
With more than 25 years of experience in running international advertising networks, consultancies, and digital-first businesses, Vij is counted among India's leading marketing strategists. Some of his previous leadership roles were with Ogilvy, McCann, BBDO, Zeno, Cognizant, and Adfactors PR.
Among his notable achievements, Vij helped initiate Proximity BBDO's CRM and digital arm in India, set up Cognizant's digital marketing practice in the UK, and developed real-time social media command centers for iconic brand campaigns. At Adfactors PR, he helped drive the firm's digital business, making it a force to contend with in integrated communications.
