Ragging: India's 'Hall Of Shame'

Bangalore: The dictionary explains the term, as "having fun at someone or tease," it implies some mild and harmless joke. Ragging, however, would not be an issue of concern, if it is a form of fun. Hardly anyone would mind in imitating a donkey or singing to numbers to have some fun or laughter. But, unfortunately ragging is not confined to such mild form. The sadistic form of behavior is spreading in our institutions. Some of the institutions have taken the act seriously and punished the offenders while some have let off the crime lightly. Here are some of the ragging incidents which happened in India.
