Radisson Hotel Group Redesignates Nikhil Sharma to Lead South Asia Operations
Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has redesignated Nikhil Sharma as Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, South Asia. As Managing Director & Area Senior Vice President, Sharma will remain in charge of driving RHG's strategic expansion and operations in the region, relying on his wide-ranging experience in the hospitality sector.
With a robust grasp of the South Asian hospitality industry, Sharma has played a pivotal role in Radisson Hotel Group's growth. His ongoing leadership is slated to propel operational excellence and further deepen RHG's presence in the region as the company accelerates its expansion strategy.
The restructuring is reflective of RHG's resolve to bolster its leadership hierarchy in consonance with changing industry trends and business objectives. The group is a powerhouse in India's hospitality sector with close to 199 hotels under its wings in the country. It still holds a commanding presence in tier-1 locations like Delhi NCR while widening its footprint in tier-2 and tier-3 cities that form more than 50% of its portfolio.
RHG has successfully introduced multiple brands in India, including Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Inn by Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, and Radisson Individuals along with its extension, Radisson Individuals Retreats.
This leadership move reaffirms RHG’s focus on sustained growth and operational excellence in the South Asian market.
