Radisson Hotel Group appoints Nikhil Sharma as MD and ASVP for South Asia
Radisson Hotel Group announced the appointment of Nikhil Sharma as the Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President (ASVP) for South Asia, effective April 1, 2024. With over 165 hotels in operation and development, Sharma will lead the group's operations in the South Asia region. His role is deemed pivotal in fortifying the group's leadership in the Indian market, fostering partnerships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring operational excellence.
Sharma brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having previously served as the Market Managing Director Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR). During his tenure, he oversaw various aspects including business development, operations, new openings, and sales and marketing. Prior to his time at WHR, Sharma held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ginger Hotels and was a founding member of the Lemon Tree Hotel Company.
