PM Modi Pries on His Netas

BANGALORE: Spying on people is becoming a trend and the present government is adopting this method to root out corruption. The plan to install CCTV’s in all prominent government buildings is underway and it should be functional in a few weeks. The PM swore to not take bribe and also will not let others take it, so to walk the talk, this is his new initiation.

The office of the Prime Minister is driving towards no tolerance for corruption but spying might not be the best approach. Guess this is what the motto ‘Do whatever Necessary’ means. Well, various departments are already under the scanner. The first is the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, which is one of the biggest revenue sources for the country and a huge money minting organization. This ministry will now be directed under the scanner of the PMO.

The second department is the Information and Broadcasting ministry’s Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, which in the last decade flushed a lot of money for advertisements. This will affect many media organizations that are running mostly on the money received from government advertisements. This is being done to regulate the spending of money for advertisements and find better alternatives.

The ministers are being watched individually so the PM knows their every move, even their dressing style. One minister who on his way to the airport for official international business was wearing jeans, but after a call from the PM, he went back to change his attire, reports Firstpost. Another minister who was slowly enjoying a meal over a business deal was asked to get back to work immediately. This, without a doubt is a start towards cleaning India and taking it forward without corruption.

This initiation is a good start and hopefully, PM Modi will clean up the nation’s ongoing struggle against corruption. This is a brave move forward and it is also encouraging to see the response of the Netas.
