PM Modi Invited To Inaugurate 'Resurgent Rajasthan' Summit



JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje officially invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the "Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit" to be held in Jaipur in November.

Ms Raje formally invited PM Modi during her meeting with the prime minister in Delhi.

"The chief minister also raised various issues related to central assistance," a statement issued here said.

The Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit, to be held in Jaipur on November 19-20, will have strategic conferences, panel discussions, roundtable deliberations, presentations and one-on-one business meetings.

It is expected to bring together investors from all over the world for interacting with policy-makers, including the political leadership, government officials and local business leaders on the investment environment and opportunities in Rajasthan.

Ms Raje also requested PM Modi for providing a relief package of 11,886 crore under the norms of the National Disaster Response Force for relief to farmers affected by natural calamities.
