PM Modi Highlights Vision for Viksit Bharat Ahead of Budget Session

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed the media before Parliament's Budget Session, which is scheduled to start from January 31. The first half of the session will run till February 13 and then goes into a recess. The two Houses will resume the session again on March 10. The session will end on April 4.
During his speech, PM Modi said that he prays for the continued blessings of Maa Lakshmi on India's poor and middle class, as they are the ones who form the backbone of the nation's progress. He also talked about the importance of India completing 75 years as a democratic nation, describing it as a proud milestone. "It is a matter of great pride that India has completed 75 years as a democratic nation", he said.
The Prime Minister went on to note that India's growing importance globally was underlined by its powerful presence in the international arena. He also reminded that this would be the first full budget of his third term, a milestone in shaping the future of India. "I can confidently say that in 2047, when India completes 100 years of Independence, India will fulfill its aim of Viksit Bharat", he said.
PM Modi concluded by saying that the budget would be one which would infuse new energy and hope into the nation, thus playing a crucial role in achieving the goal of a developed India.
