The online real estate platform NoBroker is all set to hire 500 people for its technology and product teams across senior and junior levels. The company is looking for talent to run its various business functions as well as head important customer touchpoints, reports ET. These recruits will help the company identify and cater to the evolving real estate customers’ needs and provide them with access to tech-enabled services.

Despite the pandemic, this Bangalore-based startup has already hired nearly 500 new professionals across its marketing, technology and business operations verticals. NoBroker has already rolled out a 15 percent average hike to 200 senior employees and regular quarterly incentives to customer service executives.

Amit Agarwal, Co-Founder of NoBroker, said that while growth did slow down from it initially and customer base dipped by nearly half, the company was able to get back on its feet quite quickly. He also said that the company has not laid off any employees and have not deducted any salaries either.

NoBroker is also prioritizing hiring HR managers who can innovate on rolling out employee engagement initiatives as many employees are still working from home.

Founded in 2014 by three IITians and IIMers, Akhil Gupta, Amit Agarwal and Saurabh Garg, NoBroker has raised a total of $151 million in various rounds of funding from investors including General Atlantic, Tiger Global, SAIF Partners, Beenext and KTB Ventures.
