Nippon Paint India Appoints Mark Titus as President of Decorative Business
  • Mark Titus promoted to President-Decorative Business
  • He will lead strategy, growth, and execution across India
  • Comes with 20+ years of cross-industry leadership experience

Nippon Paint India has promoted Mark Titus to President-Decorative Business, further strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its presence in the Indian market. Titus previously served as Vice-President and will now oversee strategy, growth, and operations for the decorative coatings division across the country.

With more than two decades of experience, Titus has worked across FMCG, beverages, consumer electronics, and the paints & coatings industry. He began his career at Duncans Tea and later held marketing roles at LG Electronics and Sony India. He then moved to The Coca-Cola Company as Area Marketing Manager for Delhi & NCR, followed by positions at Videocon Telecommunications and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages before joining Nippon Paint India.

The leadership change comes shortly after another major announcement. In November, the NIPSEA Group, part of Nippon Paint Holdings, named Sharad Malhotra as the new Managing Director of Nippon Paint India, effective December 1, 2025. Malhotra, currently Senior Vice President, will take over from Jon Tan and report to Wee Siew Kim, Group CEO of the NIPSEA Group.

Malhotra has been with Nippon Paint for over 15 years and has played a key role in expanding the company’s automotive refinish, wood coatings, and light industrial coatings portfolio. He has also helped drive growth in emerging categories such as paint protection films. His earlier career includes roles at Sumitomo Corporation, ICI India, and AkzoNobel Car Refinishes, and he most recently led Nippon Paint India’s automotive and wood coatings division as President.
