Narendra Modi set to inaugurate India Mobile Congress
The 7th edition of India's largest telecom industry event, 'India Mobile Congress 2023', will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as announced by the Department of Telecommunications on the social media platform X. This three-day event is a collaborative effort between the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). The DoT shared, "Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate India Mobile Congress 2023 on October 27, 2023, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi", on X.
This year's event anticipates an impressive turnout, with over 100,000 participants, more than 1,300 delegates, 400+ speakers, 225+ exhibitors, and 400 startups. Participants from 31 countries are expected to join. Additionally, the India Mobile Congress will introduce 'Aspire,' a startup program aimed at fostering the growth of entrepreneurship among young innovators and industry professionals in the telecom and other digital sectors.
