Microsoft Partners with KT Corp on Cutting-Edge AI and Cloud Innovations
KT Corp, a South Korean telecommunications company, announced its collaboration with US technology giant Microsoft to advance the local AI and cloud computing sectors. According to KT officials, the strategic partnership will involve joint AI and cloud research projects. KT CEO Kim Young-shub said, "We will do our best to set a milestone in South Korea's digital innovation and swiftly respond to changes in the market through a comprehensive collaboration with Microsoft”.
Microsoft and Hitachi have unveiled a multibillion-dollar partnership set to span the next three years, aimed at accelerating social innovation through generative AI. This strategic alliance will drive the growth of Hitachi's Lumada business, targeting a revenue of USD 18.9 billion in FY2024. Additionally, it will enhance operational efficiency and productivity for Hitachi Group's 270,000 employees. According to the report, Hitachi plans to train over 50,000 GenAI professionals. Currently in the beta phase, the application aims to transform daily financial management and digital banking with an intuitive, user-friendly interface. The official release states that the JioFinance app offers seamless integration of digital banking features such as bill payments, UPI transactions, and insurance advisory services.
