MediaTek Launches New Flagship Chip in Dimensity Line
MediaTek, the global chip-making giant, has announced the launch of its latest flagship mobile chip, the 'Dimensity 9300+', which boasts cutting-edge advancements in on-device generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) processing and increased clock speeds.
The new chip is designed to enhance AI experiences, with an impressive boost in speed and performance to accelerate Large Language Model (LLM) inference. MediaTek's NeuroPilot Speculative Decode Acceleration technology in the company's latest generative AI engine allows the Dimensity 9300+ to handle LLMs with seven billion parameters at 22 tokens per second, which is more than twice as fast as competitive mass market solutions.

The chip also features a second-generation hardware ray tracing engine with an Arm Immortalis-G720 GPU, delivering fast ray tracing experiences at a smooth 60 FPS, and console-grade global illumination effects for gamers. Additionally, MediaTek’s HyperEngine technologies enhance gaming capabilities, while MediaTek Adaptive Gaming Technology (MAGT) optimizes power efficiency in popular games, extending battery life and maintaining cooler device temperatures.
