Mathematrix 2021: A PAN-India Maths-Based Event
Mathematics is the ancient subject that has numbers at its heart, induces logical development of the brain and brings about reasoning. With a variety of applications of the subject, one can probably surmise that it is omnipresent.
However, over the past few decades, people, especially students have started feeling that this subject is mundane and uninteresting. That is why, the Mathematics Association of Podar, organises Mathematrix, a fun filled maths event to change the perception about mathematics.
R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous)is one of the most reputed commerce colleges with over 80 years of academic excellence and the Mathematics Association of Podar is one of its active student forums. Each year, we bring to you, Mathematrix, a pan-India maths-based event, with a motto of making mathematics fun, interesting and to remove the stigma against the subject. Last year, we hosted the event for a span of 3 days, with participation of over 100 schools and colleges making the most of this virtual platform.
This year too, with the prevailing conditions, Mathematrix would be held online. It will be inaugurated at the hands of Ms. Sejal Vora, who has humbly agreed to be the chief guest. Commencing on 27th August till 29th August, spread across three days, we bring you a plethora of challenges that’ll keep the participants on their toes. With events like The Fast and The Factorial, 20000 Logarithms under the sea, The Natural Suspects, and many more, participants will be taken on a mathematical adventure. Speed and accuracy will be the weapons at their disposal, making their adventure even more enthralling.
