Manipal Institute of Technology to Host XXI CISCON Conference

The Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, is hosting XXI CISCON - Conference on Control Instrumentation Systems from August 1-3, 2024. Now in its 21st year, the conference is being supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board of the Government of India, ARK Infosystems Chennai, and for the first time, the IEEE Bengaluru Chapter. Proceedings will be published on IEEE Xplore.
The Conference has received more than 800 manuscript submissions across the globe, out of which about 150 papers have been chosen for presentation by about 90 authors. A pre-Conference tutorial on "Machine Learning-Based Data-Driven Identification and Control Design Using DC Motors", will be held on August 1, led by Dr. P. S. V. Nataraj from IIT Bombay.
The keynote speakers include Dr. Shashikant Sadistap, Chief Scientist at CSIR NEERI. The invited speaker is Dr. Ravindra D. Gudi, currently working as Dean of Alumni and Internationalisation, IIT Bombay. Other prominent speakers include Dr. Sourav Kanti Aditya, NITK, and Dr. Vishal Sharma, INTEL Bengaluru.
The inaugural program of the conference will be held on 2nd August at the Sir M V Seminar Hall, MIT Manipal. It will be inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, VSM (Retd.). It will turn out to be a very good platform in terms of networking and knowledge sharing on instrumentation and control engineering.
