Mahindra & Mahindra, a prominent SUV manufacturer, has recently inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) with the aim of broadening the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across India. Under the MoU, Mahindra and ATEL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Total Gas Limited, have outlined a strategic plan to establish an extensive network of EV charging stations nationwide. This partnership is particularly beneficial for owners of Mahindra's XUV400, who will gain access to over 1,100 chargers through the Bluesense+ App, greatly enhancing the convenience and accessibility of charging for Mahindra EV owners.
The collaboration between Mahindra and ATEL is a significant step forward in fostering a greener and more sustainable future, which aligns with India's ambitious climate action objectives. Veejay Nakra, President of M&M Ltd's Automotive Division, expressed that this alliance plays a pivotal role in bolstering the EV charging infrastructure, ensuring seamless access to charging facilities and facilitating digital integration for an unparalleled EV user experience.
