Lulu Mall Thiruvananthapuram Wins Green Building Award 2024

Lulu Mall, Thiruvananthapuram has been awarded by Indian Green Building Council for exemplary achievement towards green building requirements. The prestigious award was received at the Green Building Congress 2024 held in Bengaluru. Joy Shadanandan, Regional Director Lulu Group, Thiruvananthapuram, and Paul K, General Manager of Projects Lulu Group, received the award on behalf of the mall for its long-term commitment towards sustainable construction practices.

Lulu Mall will be completing three years in December. On weekdays, the mall currently witnesses an average of over 60,000 footfalls, while the weekends witness a footfall between 70,000 to 100,000. In terms of new projects, Lulu Group is setting up newer projects in Thiruvananthapuram region as well, and it is planning the launch of its first Lulu Hypermarket in Kottiyam, in the Kollam district very soon. The company has hypermarket projects lined up as well.

Lulu Group has also added further installations in Tamil Nadu. It is likely to complete a new project in Chennai by the first quarter of 2025, with two more hypermarkets planned in the same city. The company also has future expansion plans for other locations across Tamil Nadu.
